Can you tell us a bit more? Did you create the children or their costumes? (Sorry...but I really can't be sure!)Both are beautiful. If you are showing us the costumes, how did you begin to do that? What are your creative processes?

haha sorry Willow, I was being a smarty-pants - my creating ended with my children, I bought the costumes - but I did their hair and make-up :)

I have however (in the days before school when I actually had spare time) made a few costumes for my oldest child. My creative process starts with a vision. I find that if I do not have a vision, I cannot create. I seem to be unable to start something and just go with it until it becomes something. When I do "make" or "create" something, I often research or look for visuals to get my vision and adapt or modify them to meet my own needs.

Cathy, don't sell yourself short. I've been watching what you have produced over the last year and it does demonstrate your creativity-even if it has to do with over-sized glasses and a mustache. Luv ya, Sherry

What cutie-pies! I miss having young children at Halloween and other times...I remember all those endless art sessions and how they gloried in creating (art as well as many messes...)I just got rid of the craft box with all the 'treasures' like sparkly bits of fabric, and glitter, etc.now that my youngest is approaching 18!It is nice to see you enjoying this stage so much because it sure flies by in a hurry...
